Raindance Film Festival appoints Eulogy for third consecutive year

Raindance, the UK's largest independent film festival, has appointed Eulogy for the third year running to handle comms for the event, which takes place in September.

There was no competitive pitch for the account as Eulogy was appointed following its previous work for the festival.

The agency will develop a comms strategy to increase attendance at Raindance, which is now in its 23rd year, through a targeted media campaign.

Elliot Grove, Raindance festival director, said: "In the past two years Eulogy has been instrumental to driving awareness about Raindance Film Festival across the UK. The team are relentlessly creative and have a great understanding of how to leverage the media and get people inspired. We can’t wait to start talking about this year’s festival and the great events and film screenings that will be taking place."

Scot Devine, consumer director at Eulogy, added: "Eulogy has led communications for the past two festivals, helping Raindance to achieve a 41 per cent increase year on year in festival attendance. The team is passionate about the film festival and focused on making this year an even bigger success than last."

The festival takes place from 23 September to 4 October in London's West End.
