Waggener Edstrom named PR and social media agency for Transitions Optical in Asia

Transitions Optical has appointed Waggener Edstrom Communications as its new public relations and social media agency of record; Vizeum as its media agency of record; and iProspect as its search agency of record.

The appointments, effective immediately, encompass brand reputation, digital engagement, media relations and social media across Asia Pacific including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

The company is a leading provider of photochromic (adaptive) lenses.

"Consumers are spending more time researching brands and products before a purchasing decision.
