Harris Diamond on trends at Cannes

The McCann chief and former Weber Shandwick CEO sat down with PRWeek at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

McCann Worldgroup chairman and CEO Harris Diamond described the changes he’s witnessed in the practice of public relations while at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity last week.

"PR in a funny way has actually hit its stride even more so today than it did years ago," the former Weber Shandwick CEO said. "Years ago, public relations was reputation oriented, it was campaign oriented."

"Today, PR is a one-to-one business," he added.
