Hunters made its debut on AIM this morning. Smithfield was appointed following a three-way competitive pitch to advise on the flotation and provide ongoing financial comms.
Hunters plans to grow from 151 offices at present to around 500 over the next three years through a combination of acquisitions of small and large chains and some organic growth.
Kevin Hollinrake, Hunters chairman, said: "Hunters is a highly ambitious company. The group is excited about its next chapter as a public company. This status will help to further enhance the Hunters brand and provide access to capital to accelerate business growth."
Pernilla Tweddle, head of marketing at Hunters, said: "We are excited about our next phase as a public company and to be working with Smithfield to deliver our story to the City."
Four Communications continues to handle Hunters' non-financial PR.
Hunters was founded in 1992 and began growing via franchise in 2006.
