Popcorn PR wins top agency prize at CIPR Excellence Awards

Buckinghamshire-based Popcorn PR won the top agency prize at last night's CIPR Excellence Awards.

It was named Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy, as well as Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy, at the ceremony in London’s Old Billingsgate.

Hotwire and Man Bites Dog won equivalent awards for large and mid-sized agencies respectively. The Outstanding In-House Public Relations Team was named as Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, and the PR Director of the Year was Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service's Bridget Aherne.
