H+K’s Global Centre of Creative Strategy’s Publishing Board, the first in a planned series, is to have its first meeting in London later this month. It will feature attendees from LinkedIn, Buzzfeed, The Pool, Channel Mum, Brandwatch and others.
The programme includes quarterly sessions to review challenges and developing trends, alongside annual research, events, white papers and ‘thought leadership’ to be rolled out across the rest of 2015.
Vikki Chowney, director of content and publishing strategies at H+K, said: "We want to explore and experiment with how to publish in a modern world, but base that on real insight and analysis. With a greater focus on using data to inform the creation of great work, there’s so much potential, and we’re excited about what that means for communications today."
Simon Shaw, H+K chief creative officer, said: "The Global Centre of Creative Strategy was formed to inject creativity into the heart of what we do, and by pooling the knowledge of this group of innovators, we’re looking at what this means for our approach to publishing."
