The Corner Shop opens Edinburgh office and launches management company

The Corner Shop, the theatre and performing arts PR agency, has opened a second office in Edinburgh and launched an event management company called The Corner Shop Events.

The Corner Shop Scotland will be led by Susie Gray, former head of comms for the Edinburgh International Festival.

The office will provide PR services for a range of cultural events and organisations throughout Scotland and south of the border. Clients include productions for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Corner Shop Events will be led by Hannah Osborne, until recently general manager and head of events at The Corner Shop, and based at The Corner Shop’s London office in Covent Garden.

The Corner Shop’s current clients include major West End musicals The Lion King, the Book of Mormon and Roald Dahl’s Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and institutions such as the National Youth Theatre and The Bush Theatre.

The agency was founded in 2007 by Ben Chamberlain, Ryan Petersen and Clair Chamberlain and works with a diverse range of clients across multiple art forms on a national and international basis. It employs 23 people.
