Nelson has held senior comms roles at RBS, BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors, Goldman Sachs International and Citi. She will take up her new role on 13 July.
Since launching a year ago Camarco now has 39 retained clients, including multinational and FTSE companies across the financial services, energy and natural resources, industrial and support services and consumer sectors.

The addition of Nelson takes the total number of staff at the consultancy to 15. Other recent joiners include Jennifer Renwick from Brunswick and Ginny Pulbrook, co-founder of Citigate Dewe Rogerson, who heads up Camarco's industrials and support services practice.
