Most of the partnerships are new, including CLP & Partners in New York, Authentic Communications in the Netherlands and O’Malley Hansen in Chicago.

CLP & Partners co-founder Simon Locke is a former client of Tavistock when he worked at Prudential, while Authentic Communications leader Arie de Zeuw, used to work with Tavistock in his previous role at Vodafone.

Elsewhere, Russell & Associates in Johannesburg and PPR in Australia are long-term partners that Tavistock works with on behalf of a number of clients, particularly in the resources sector.

The rest of the partnerships are spread across South America, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Tavistock joint CEO, Matt Ridsdale (pictured) said: "We are increasingly being asked to deliver for clients across borders. To that end, it is important to our clients that through us they are able to call upon the expertise of like-minded, advisory partners in cities around the world.

"For those clients that want cross-border capability, our network provides them with first-class counsel from independent firms who have flourished on their own two feet, not simply as an outpost of a global brand."
