Tastesmiths appoints Cow PR to consumer PR and social media brief

Tastesmiths, producer of fresh Indian curry kits, has hired Cow PR to handle consumer PR and social media for the brand following a competitive pitch.

The agency has been retained to launch Tastesmiths in national and consumer press and develop content that will help the brand build its social presence.

Tastesmiths was founded by mother-and-daughter team Sally Hares and Stef Reed. The idea behind the brand is to encourage more poeple to cook at home using fresh ingredients.  

Hares said: "We're excited to be working with a team of people who are so enthusiastic and passionate about helping us get more people in their kitchens, cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients."

The company, which is in talks with major supermarkets, currently sells its products through its own website and on Ocado.
