Background

Evanridge Properties LLP are property and fund managers, specialising in the Swedish property market. Established by two Welsh farmers and a former HMRC tax inspector, Evanridge Properties has introduced a series of funds, to open up the Swedish property market to UK investors.

Brief to CubanEight

Our campaign objective was to raise awareness of Evanridge and its products and attract new, high net worth investors to invest in the fund.

Campaign Strategy

We took a high quality approach, focusing on top tier media, read by high net worth individuals such at The Times and Telegraph and ensuring that journalists were thoroughly briefed on what made this fund significantly different.

The campaign took a hearts and minds approach, looking at what really drives people to invest their money.

Tactics/Activity

One of our first tactics was to organise a spring press trip to Sweden which included The Times, Management Today, the Daily Mail’s This is Money and Property Week – this resulted in multiple in-depth features focusing on Evanridge, the investment and the wider investment opportunity that is Sweden.

Two lengthy features in The Times prompted 15 requests for Evanridge’s PPM and to date has secured six new investors.

An autumn press trip included Retiremove.co.uk, Daily Express, Yahoo UK! Finance, High 50, Estates Gazette and MoneyWise. Comprehensive features have been published and have already prompted interest from potential investors.

Underpinning the bigger news pieces, CubanEight identified ‘hot news topics’ such as the Chancellor’s pension announcements and drafted Evanridge by-lined articles, which were placed in relevant business and high net worth titles, resulting in full length articles promoting Evanridge’s expertise.

Campaign outcomes

To date, the campaign has generated 150+ enquiries from potential investors, leading to requests for Evanridge’s Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) from those who are considering an investment.

The first piece of media coverage secured was a half-page feature in the Daily Telegraph which led to 14 requests for Evanridge’s PPM.

To date the campaign has generated £380,000 of new investment, which represents over 10% of the total raised for the current Evanridge fund.

Where CubanEight has generated interest from an investor and Evanridge has followed up with a meeting, the conversion rate has been 100%.  Evanridge has been delighted with the quality of the results, commenting:
