It was a slightly quieter week on the campaign trail, only in that there wasn’t a new candidate to officially enter the race (though Carly Fiorina’s expected bid was announced). That left plenty of headlines for the current four presidential candidates – and not all so glimmering.
Hillary Clinton faced more allegations of a "money and transparency problem," as detailed by Politico, and CNN reported that her email issues linger. Ted Cruz was the lone senator playing hooky at the last vote before Loretta Lynch was confirmed as the new US Attorney General, because of a fundraiser. Rand Paul’s son reportedly got a DUI. According to FOX News, former Republican nominee and Sen. John McCain called Paul "the worst possible candidate" regarding national security after Paul called him POTUS’ "lapdog."
Meanwhile, Marco Rubio is hanging out at the top of a new national poll.
