Fataar was based at adidas HQ in Germany, where she was global director of PR and social in the consumer brand comms department for more than two years.
She was responsible for all owned and earned channels, created high-profile campaigns, and oversaw global brand positioning and messaging.
Before adidas, Fataar was managing and creative director of London boutique fashion and lifestyle comms shop Spin Agency, which she launched in 2002.
In her new role Fataar will work with Edelman's consumer brands, producing creative content and campaigns.
