European Network of Cyber Security appoints Aspectus PR to grow membership base

The European Network of Cyber Security (ENCS), a non-profit member organisation for infrastructure stakeholders and security experts, has appointed Aspectus PR to help the company increase engagement with its target audience across Europe as it looks to grow its membership base.

It is the first time ENCS has hired a PR agency. Aspectus will deliver a PR campaign to expand its members, encourage better understanding of cyber security issues across Europe and promote the work that the network is carrying out to secure energy grids.

Geoffrey Riggs, director of marketing comms at ENCS, said: "I worked with Aspectus during my time at Elster, the global meter manufacturer. Impressed with its depth of industry knowledge and strength of work, I decided to call on it again when I joined ENCS to help grow the ENCS name as the network for cyber security experts across Europe."

Alastair Turner, global group director at Aspectus, said: "ENCS does fantastic work bringing together the cyber security community in Europe and we’re looking forward to getting its exceptional work out there with a dedicated PR campaign. Our approach encompasses media, search and content and we are confident that this will help drive engagement with existing and prospective members, along with the wider industry."
