Mann will oversee the expanded CNC office in London, which now has more than 40 consultants focusing on financial and corporate comms, reputation and crisis management, as well as internal comms.

Mann has been with CNC for eight years, joining from a financial journalism role at Mergermarket. Together with CNC co-founder Roland Klein and CNC partner Kevin Soady, Mann oversaw the consultancy’s growth in London before the merger.

He specialises in corporate comms, crisis and reputation management and has advised on some of the largest cross-border M&A transactions in the past three years. At the beginning of 2013, Mann spent seven months supporting media relations at Oyu Tolgoi, a large copper and gold mining project in Mongolia, managed and owned by Rio Tinto.

In his role as MD Mann will advise clients as well as overseeing management responsibilities and human resources.

MSLGroup announced plans to merge its Capital MSL and Communications Networking Consulting companies at the end of 2014. Speaking to PRWeek when the merger plan was announced, then Capital MSL CEO Richard Campbell said he hoped to "grow faster" in London following the move.

CNC operates 11 offices in eight countries and works on more than 200 accounts globally.
