Gemalto reappoints Brands2Life for corporate and social media account

Gemalto, the digital security company, has reappointed Brands2Life as its corporate and social media agency following a three-way pitch process.

Gemalto is one of the world's biggest SIM card makers. The firm has been in the press recently over allegations that in 2010 and 2011 its SIM card encryption keys were hacked by Britain's Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) and the US National Security Agency.

Gemalto provides digital services to businesses and governments across 190 countries. Brands2Life has worked with the company for the past four years and will continue to support Gemalto’s brand and customer engagement on social media as well as run a programme of global campaigns, content and training.

Tim Cawsey, head of brand for Gemalto, said: "While we had been happy with Brands2Life’s work over the past few years, we felt it was time to retender to see what the market had to offer.
