Agency of the Year goes to Weber Shandwick

The firm stood out for its client work and creativity, and it was named advertising AOR for several big clients.

Weber Shandwick emerged the winner of the top award for PR firms at the 2015 PRWeek Awards, PR Agency of the Year.

Judges consistently used one word to describe Weber: "integrated." Its ability to break barriers and its willingness to embrace change was recognized, as well.

It was named advertising AOR for several clients in 2014, including Fisher-Price and Covered California, not to mention digital and social AOR status for Excedrin and Ragu, among others.

Its work for the #Unapologetic campaign for Barbie was also recognized for helping to drive a 13% sales increase for the brand.

Weber also won Large Agency of the Year. Edelman was runner up in that category.

Allison+Partners received honorable mention for Agency of the Year. It was the winner of Midsize PR Agency of the Year, for which ICR won honorable mention.

Singer Associates won Small PR Agency of the Year; Exponent Public Relations was honorable mention in that category.

Boutique PR Agency of the Year went to Praytell Strategy. Kyne won honorable mention in that category.
