The UNV programme is a UN organisation that supports human development and promotes volunteering around the globe. The report examines the contributions volunteers make to economic and social development.

The agency will co-ordinate media and stakeholder launch events coinciding with publication of the report.

UNV comms chief Jennifer Stapper said: "The team’s subject matter expertise in global development issues, combined with its international strategic media relations experience, make it a perfect partner for UNV to launch this important publication."

Brian Tjugum, EMEA head of social impact at Weber Shandwick, said: "Not many PR firms have the opportunity to contribute to communications efforts with such global significance. Volunteering is a value we embrace and an activity we encourage."
