Road Communications wins four-way pitch for Scope Ophthalmics

Scope Ophthalmics has appointed Road Communications to provide PR support for its branded range of prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

The UK dry-eye disease market is worth an estimated £120m across hospital, speciality care, GP and high street retail outlets.

Road MD Paul Jarman said: "Ophthalmic medicine is a significant niche and we are excited to be working with Scope to educate prescribers and consumers in key treatment areas."

Tom Freyne, commercial director at Scope Ophthalmics, said: "Road Communications will be responsible for helping us establish key brands in the UK and Ireland. We were impressed with its understanding of the market, its strategy, and the holistic way it interpreted our brief."
