The agency will work with director and producer Linda Yellen to secure coverage about the film in mainstream media and specialist film press, as well as specialist consumer and crowdfunding media.
The aim of the fundraising initiative is to finish post-production on the film and get it into film festivals.
The film, which also stars Jacqueline Bisset, is a comedy about a Hollywood producer and his efforts to get a flop shown at a film festival.
But shooting finished in 2010 when Hopper died, aged 74, after being diagnosed with prostate cancer leaving some scenes of the film unfinished.
Now Yellen has returned to the project with the hope of raising the required funds to complete the film.
In addition to media coverage, Dynamo will assist Yellen on its international launch.
Heather Delaney, head of crowdfunding at Dynamo PR, said: "This has been a long time coming, and fans will be excited to finally watch Dennis Hopper’s final independent film, and a cleverly written comedy."
Yellen said Dynamo’s expertise in social media, public relations and crowdfunding had been "a learning curve" for her and that she was already considering using the agency for other projects.
