Kidney Research UK brings in Stand Agency for awareness campaign

Stand Agency has been appointed by Kidney Research UK to launch a PR and social media campaign for the charity's awareness month in March, following a non-competitive pitch.

The agency has been briefed to produce a creative campaign to raise funds for research into kidney disease, as well as to increase awareness of the impact of the disease.

The charity hopes to replicate the success of recent charity campaigns such as Cancer Research’s #nomakeupselfie.

Nicola Short, comms manager for Kidney Research UK, said: "Stand Agency's social media idea really caught our eye and we feel its commitment and tenacity will make sure our story gets to where it needs to be."

Laura Oliphant, managing director and co-founder of Stand Agency, said: "We love the challenge of creating an idea that makes people think differently about an issue and we believe this campaign will do that."
