He previously held senior roles at companies including Korn Ferry, the global executive search firm, where he focused on the asset, wealth management and investment banking sectors.
Before Korn Ferry, Ispahani had a 15-year banking career at JP Morgan. He is also a director of his family’s firm, the Bangladeshi conglomerate MM Ispahani.

Last month Kreab announced that it had hired Björn Edlund – former head of corporate comms at Royal Dutch Shell, automation tech giant ABB and Novartis – as a senior adviser.
Other recent appointments include David Glasspool, formerly head of equity capital markets at SEB Enskilda; energy and nuclear specialist Gareth Davies, a lawyer with particular experience in nuclear emergency responses; and Haruko Fukuda, who currently holds a number of non-executive directorships including Investec, and was a senior adviser at Lazard and vice-chairman of Nikko Europe.
