Kreab adds to senior adviser roster with Iraj Ispahani appointment

Kreab, the multinational PR agency previously known as Kreab Gavin Anderson, has added another senior adviser to its team with the appointment of Iraj Ispahani of management consultant Oliver Wyman & Co.

He previously held senior roles at companies including Korn Ferry, the global executive search firm, where he focused on the asset, wealth management and investment banking sectors.

Before Korn Ferry, Ispahani had a 15-year banking career at JP Morgan. He is also a director of his family’s firm, the Bangladeshi conglomerate MM Ispahani.

Gunilla Banér, Kreab managing partner in London, said: "His international business experience across financial services and through his family business will be significant as we develop our strategy of advising multinational businesses with headquarters in London."

Last month Kreab announced that it had hired Björn Edlund – former head of corporate comms at Royal Dutch Shell, automation tech giant ABB and Novartis – as a senior adviser.

Other recent appointments include David Glasspool, formerly head of equity capital markets at SEB Enskilda; energy and nuclear specialist Gareth Davies, a lawyer with particular experience in nuclear emergency responses; and Haruko Fukuda, who currently holds a number of non-executive directorships including Investec, and was a senior adviser at Lazard and vice-chairman of Nikko Europe.
