In separate press conferences on Thursday, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and star quarterback Tom Brady both said they knew nothing about how their team’s footballs got under-inflated during the AFC Championship.

Belichick denied ever talking to a player or staff member about ball pressure during his 40-year coaching career, while Brady more playfully also said he wasn’t involved. (The nature of the scandal led to memorable tabloid front pages, as well).
