Berkeley PR appoints Red's Lynsey Barry

Berkeley PR has appointed Lynsey Barry of The Red Consultancy as associate director as it looks to develop its consumer offering.

Barry will oversee a 10-strong team and its consumer, b2b and tech clients. This includes several new clients such as adjustable reading glasses provider Eyejusters, retail checkout manufacturer Wincor Nixdorf, technology start up BitNet, tech giant Software AG and BMW’s vehicle mobility division Alphabet.

She is Berkeley PR’s second senior appointment from Red, following Patrick Southwell who joined as a partner 15 months ago.

Barry spent seven years at Red and her experience spans consumer brands, retail, lifestyle, food & drink and public sector for a range of clients including McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Amazon, Boots UK, Horlicks, GSK, NHS Blood and Transplant, Federation of Bakers, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, the National Lottery Promotions Unit and the National Fraud Authority.

Paul Stallard, MD at Berkeley PR, said: "We are going from strength to strength, winning fantastic new clients and attracting some of the best talent in the industry. Lynsey will be a great asset, offering a fresh perspective to our existing client portfolio and helping us win those big ticket consumer deals."
