Threepipe will provide Gfinity with b2b PR support, focused on driving brand and industry awareness in key trade and business media.
Gfinity’s successful float on the small business stock market (AIM) in December raised £3.5 million and is a marker of the growing value of the e-sports element of the worldwide gaming industry.
Pitch International will become the exclusive commercial agency of the inaugural Gfinity Championships, to be held between March and September this year.
The games will see professional e-sports teams from around the world compete across 25 tournaments staged in what is billed as the UK’s first and only dedicated e-sports arena.
