MSLGroup brings on Grosso for new executive creative director role in NY

She most recently worked at Blue Advertising for a decade and ran her own consulting firm.

NEW YORK: MSLGroup has appointed Gailanne Grosso, most recently with Blue Advertising for 10 years, to serve in the new role of executive creative director in the firm’s New York office.

Grosso, who started at the agency on January 5 after serving as creative director at Blue, is reporting to Andrew Silver, MD of MSL New York.

In addition to leading the office’s creative capabilities and brand-development efforts, Grosso will work to grow MSL New York’s creative services across all channels.

She explained that the firm is "delivering very strongly aligned messaging through various vehicles, so this [role] is just a continuation of that great work."

Grosso added that her main objectives in leading creative in New York include continuing the firm’s momentum serving clients "with integrity and intelligence" and building on its foundation of talent.

During the last six years of her time at Blue, Grosso also led her own consulting firm called Grossoworks.

Prior, she was US creative director and EVP for Edelman’s Western US region. Grosso also previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi as group creative director and held roles at Young & Rubicam, DMB&B, and Ketchum Advertising
