Camden markets owner Market Tech Holdings hires Bell Pottinger

Market Tech Holdings, the owner of London's Camden markets, has appointed Bell Pottinger on a retained basis after the company's successful IPO on 22 December, which was the largest listing on AIM in 2014.

Bell Pottinger handled comms over the period of the listing, which raised £100m in new working capital for Market Tech – the firm has an equity value of £750m.
The agency will handle financial and corporate PR for Market Tech, which owns 11 acres of Camden real estate, incorporating all of the main markets. The company plans to develop retail, leisure and housing assets and create an online platform to be known as markets.com.
David Rydell, partner at Bell Pottinger, said: "This is Bell Pottinger’s 14th IPO in as many months, reflecting the company’s strong position in the primary issuance marketplace."
