Erdem appoints press and marketing director to oversee global comms

Erdem, the fashion line, has hired Rachel Brandrick to the new role of press and marketing director to work alongside its PR agencies.

The position has been created to provide comms support for the business and its existing PR agencies. Brandrick starts in the role immediately.

Brandrick will be supported in-house by press and marketing co-ordinator, Joana Esteves, as well as partner agencies The Communications Store in London and Karla Otto in New York, which will continue to manage media and VIP relations for the brand.

Brandrick was previously communications director for Christian Louboutin, based in the UK head office and overseeing UK, Scandinavia, India, Australia, Russia, Middle East, SE Asia and Asia markets. She worked there for four years before leaving last summer.

Before joining Erdem, Brandrick held an interim six-month contract at Wedgwood as global brand manager, where she consulted on the repositioning of the brand.
