Pagefield appoints London 2012 Olympic bid vice-chair Alan Pascoe

Corporate comms agency Pagefield has appointed Alan Pascoe MBE, former Olympic silver medallist and vice-chairman of London's 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Bid, to its advisory board.

Pascoe also founded marketing agencies APR and CSM Sport and Entertainment.

Pagefield’s board is chaired by Sir Christopher Meyer, the former British ambassador to the United States and Germany and former chairman of the Press Complaints Commission.

Mark Gallagher, founder and senior partner at Pagefield, said: "Alan is a truly outstanding individual: a champion athlete, a great business success and a delightful man. Having worked with him for more than a decade, I couldn’t be happier that he’s now joined team Pagefield."

Pascoe said: "Having enjoyed creating and building top-performing agencies for most of my working life, I am so pleased to be joining Mark Gallagher and his team at this crucial point in Pagefield’s development. I look forward to helping Pagefield here and abroad, and doing some exciting work together."

Earlier this year Pagefield bolstered its PR team with the appointment of MHP director Will Spratt, who also supports the agency's Pagefield Diplomat offering.

The agency has 30 full-time staff, supported by 20 specialist partners and senior advisory board directors.
