Liberty wins Geemo account to raise company profile in the UK

Mobile marketing platform Geemo has brought in Liberty as its first PR agency after a competitive pitch.

The agency announced the account win this week.

Geemo’s technology allows brands with physical locations, such as shops, to target consumers via their smartphones, based on their geographical location.

Liberty will target events and experiential agencies, marketers and retailers as well as positioning Geemo and its senior executives as leaders in proximity marketing.

Geemo CEO Ian Malone said: "We have a great deal of expertise within our team and are looking forward to using this to convey a strong thought leadership position over the coming months. Having spoken with a number of agencies, we judged Liberty to be best positioned to communicate our story, expertise and technology to a wider market."
