MSLGroup has a new director of digital and social practice in south east Asia. He is Jon Chin, the former head of digital at Fleishman. An experienced business builder with regional experience Chin will oversee the development and integration of social and digital into MSLGroup's portfolio of communication services. He will provide counsel on integrated social marketing to clients and will also be responsible for ensuring digital integration across the region to align with MSLGroup's global and regional direction.
"Digital and social media communications is fast becoming a top priority for MNCs looking to engage more closely with their target audience," said Narendra Nag, Asia Pacific lead, digital and social media, MSLGroup. Chin has the experience of conceptualising and executing award-winning integrated communications campaigns. He has worked on clients such as Philips, Azko Nobel, Estee Lauder, Bayer, Nokia, Scoot, VISA, EMC and DBS.
Chin helped launch Fleishman's digitally integrated office in Bangkok. He is a regular speaker at international marketing and PR conferences and is visiting speaker at Singapore's Nanyang Business School.
