Weber Shandwick will handle a four-month campaign to raise awareness of the brand and drive holidaymakers to the resort from this summer onwards, focusing specifically on British families. The initial four-month contract may be extended into next year.
The five-star Canary Islands resort, owned by hotel chain Dreamplace, has previously handled communications internally and this is the first time it has taken on an agency.
The appointment is part of an integrated comms plan designed to make the resort the number one family hotel in Lanzarote within one year.
Weber Shandwick will report to Dreamplace Hotels and Resorts sales and marketing manager Manuel Osorno in the company’s Tenerife office.
