The professional services firm focuses on banking, insurance and asset management companies and has advised clients including the Bank of England. It launched in 2009 and now has more than 300 consultants serving clients in 16 countries.

Capital MSL won the brief after a competitive pitch. Claire Maloney, MD of Capital MSL, will lead the agency team and told PRWeek that though the brief was currently limited to Europe, it may expand to become more globally focused.

"The financial crisis has meant that firms have had to look more at what they’re doing in terms of compliance, with financial institutions, major banks, asset managers and insurance companies having had a lot of regulation to deal with.

"Parker Fitzgerald’s work aims to help them to do this and become better businesses in the process, and we will be working directly with its partners and managing partner to advise on reputation strategy."
