Crosland joined Fishburn this week and will be advising Fishburn clients including Gatwick Airport and private equity firm Actis.

He will also work with the sustainability team, advising on CSR strategy for clients such as Geoscart and Green Alliance.

He joins from the press office at 10 Downing Street, where he was responsible for media handling for Prime Ministerial visits, advising on messaging and establishing the Downing Street press team’s social media presence.

He was previously a financial services policy adviser at companies including Schroders and Morgan Stanley.

His appointment follows two other hires to the public affairs team earlier this year.

Will Blair joined from Bell Pottinger and has just been nominated as a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Holborn and St Pancras for the Conservative Party at the 2015 general election.

Matt Keirle joined from Burson-Marsteller and is campaigning for the Conservative Party in the run-up to the general election.
