- Lady Tina's Garden, a coffee shop in Dalston, proved that you don’t have to be a goliath in the marketing world to make a splash. It has put a paddling pool outdoors, billed as the 'Dalston Lido', and invited customers to cool off with their coffee.
However, companies will want to ensure they are quick to take advantage of the hot weather and careful of their image. When the hot weather came last year, Tesco put up the price of its most affordable water and fizzy drinks by as much as 41 per cent, which was not received well by the press.
