Klout owner Lithium Technologies names Waggener Edstrom AOR

SAN FRANCISCO: Lithium Technologies, which bought social media influence-measurement service Klout in March, has hired Waggener Edstrom Communications as its comms AOR.

SAN FRANCISCO: Lithium Technologies, which bought social media influence-measurement service Klout in March, has hired Waggener Edstrom Communications as its comms AOR.

The firm will help Lithium communicate the value of the combined company. It will target both consumer and b-to-b audiences, the firm said in a statement.

WE won the account following a competitive review led by Eric Channing Brown, VP of communications at Lithium. The firm’s San Francisco office will lead account work, supported by staffers in New York and Seattle.

Lithium has previously worked with Ogilvy Public Relations, Edelman, and Bite.
