Ian Cohen is a compelling storyteller. He came to Weber Shandwick in 2011, having worked both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Since joining the agency, he has produced videos for leading global brands including Bank of America, Verizon, and Ocean Spray, among others.

Overseeing a team of more than 125 creators, producers, directors, and editors worldwide, Cohen has helped set a new standard for excellence when it comes to reaching and engaging consumers. He has also been instrumental in the creation, launch, and execution of both Mediaco and GoLive, the agency’s groundbreaking broadcast platforms.

As executive producer of Mediaco, Cohen puts the client in the driver’s seat, enabling brands to tell their stories on their own channels and on their own terms. And, as cofounder of GoLive, he has helped brands to communicate live, on location, and instantly to the masses.

This January, Cohen and his team took GoLive to the Sundance Film Festival for the first Live@Sundance event. The pioneering, live-streaming series, covered by The New York Times, showcased the festival’s brightest talents, featuring exclusive interviews with stars and creators, as well as breaking news stories.

Cohen has also used GoLive to communicate with Weber employees via EATV – Engaged, Always Television, which features notable agency talent, industry experts, and clients from around the world. It covers topics such as new campaigns, partnerships, agency news, and trends.

Prior to joining Weber, he produced videos for the launch of Sears’ FitStudio website, PepsiCo, Polo Ralph Lauren, the New York Stock Exchange, and Business Insider.

• Prior to joining Weber, Cohen was a four-time Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award-nominated television producer

• He won twice for Outstanding Daytime Show of the Year for his work on The Rachael Ray Show, where he served as field producer. He held a similar role at Martha, the daytime talk show hosted by Martha Stewart

• Cohen is also an award-winning on-camera journalist, having spent time in San Diego as a news reporter and in Yuma, AZ, as a sports director for their CBS affiliate
