Software company ClearStar appoints Luther Pendragon for AIM IPO

ClearStar, a technology and service provider to the background check industry, has appointed Luther Pendragon to advise on comms around its planned IPO on AIM.

The company, which produces background check software for employers, is understood to have approached Luther when it made plans to float, and the IPO is thought to be taking place at the end of this week.

ClearStar raised approximately $15m to fund its continued operations in marketing spend in order to acquire customers, build its international network and fund continued R&D investment in the ClearStar technology platform.

Luther is advising on media and investor relations around the float and will continue on a retained basis, advising on financial PR.

ClearStar is a US company based in Georgia and Florida, with a UK office in London.
