The company is understood to be midway through a pitch process, with an agency likely to be appointed in the coming weeks.
The brief is thought to centre on the company’s plans to place a greater focus on the PR element of its Love Mondays advertising campaign, which has been running since early 2008, and further campaigns to maintain Reed’s position as the first choice for UK jobseekers.
Reed, which has not worked with an external agency on a retained basis in recent years, is understood to be planning to decide later in the process whether the appointment will be on a retained or project basis.
A company spokeswoman confirmed the pitch was taking place.
Reed is one of the largest recruitment companies in the UK, with the site receiving over 1.5 million job applications per month. The company also operates in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
