Cull, whose job at the telecoms company was scrapped last winter, steps in as MD for corporate affairs following the departure of George Godsal for Burson-Marsteller

CEO of MSLGroup London Jeremy Sice said: "Christian is something of an industry stalwart. His extensive experience of corporate reputation management, gleaned both agency side and in house, will be a tremendous asset to us as we embark on our ambitious plans for growth following our integration last year."

In his new job Cull will work with clients including BT, EY, ICAEW, the International Sweeteners Association, PFU Fujitsu and Tizen Association.

He held a number of high profile positions at major corporates across broadcasting, travel and telecoms, including comms director of TUI UK & Ireland, and director of customer comms at BSkyB.

At Vodafone UK he led PR around the launch of 4G and the integration of Cable&Wireless Worldwide but found himself out of a job after changes made by the company’s new CEO Jeroen Hoencamp.
