The agency was selected by Turismo Chile following a competitive pitch against eight other consultancies, including incumbent Mango PR, and retained as a full-service agency covering PR, marketing and events.
AviaCircle will also be responsible for creating the itineraries and packages for tour operators and agents as well as all the training and sales missions for product managers.
Robert Keysselitz, managing director of AviaCircle, said: "This is such an exciting time for us, having already won five new accounts this year. I was personally very keen to work on this pitch, having spent a lot of time in Chile travelling on my motorbike and sailing."
Andrea Wolleter, Turismo Chile general manager, said AviaCircle had "excelled in the pitch process with a strong proposal and high levels of expertise and innovation".
"We are confident that we will achieve great results and deliver our key messages to the end consumer in order to increase visits from the UK," added Wolleter.
Meanwhile, the agency was awarded the PR account for the Hamburg Tourist Board after it was invited to pitch following a chance meeting at German travel industry expo ITB.
AviaCircle head of public relations Puja Khanna said that the agency was actively targeting Latin America in its drive for new business.
"It’s definitely a big growth market for tourism – there’s so much there that is untapped in terms of things like adventure travel, which UK holidaymakers are really getting into now," she said.
