Harley Medical Group, which had previously worked with Rain Communications for around eight years, hired the two agencies following a competitive pitch.
Maitland partner Brian Hudspith and associate partner Dan Yea advised the cosmetic surgery group on its insolvent restructure in November 2012, which came in the wake of the PIP implant scandal, and on various ad hoc projects since.
Maitland has now been retained to handle corporate comms and reputation management on an ongoing basis.
Pegasus has been appointed to handle the group’s consumer campaign, the aim of which is to raise awareness of the company’s surgical, laser and skin treatment credentials and to launch its premium own-brand skincare range.
Pegasus director Helen Yeardsley will provide strategic lead for the campaign, with both agencies reporting to marketing director James O’Shea.
O’Shea said: "We have undergone a period of significant change and with a new management team now in place we believe the time is right to make these agency appointments to help us take the business forward. We are delighted to have Maitland and Pegasus on board."
