The casino is concluding a multi-stage pitch shortly for the integrated brief ahead of launching in July.
It is understood that Shine and Cake have been involved in the process, which alongside PR shops has included content, social and experiential agencies.
Gallucci joined the company as chief marketing officer after stepping down as CEO at Lexis in March following four years with the Next 15 agency.
He said: "We are launching into a crowded market space and need to create a brand that uses the power of earned media. It will potentially be across all channels, while building in the ability to create PR and social ripples."
A decision would be made in the coming weeks, he said, adding that the retained work may involve more than one agency.
The Maltese-licensed casino, which has previously targeted the Scandinavian market, made headlines in January when it began accepting payments in Bitcoin.
