Online fashion brand The Chapar attracts W investment

The Chapar, a digital fashion concierge service for men, has appointed W to handle its PR in the UK.

W’s involvement began when it took part in a competitive pitch for PR representation, but W founder Warren Johnson subsequently decided to invest in the business.

Johnson will work alongside fellow investor Sir John Hegarty, founder of advertising agency BBH.

W will work as the brand’s retained agency for the duration of the investment period and has been briefed to establish the company as a leader in menswear shopping, building its profile in the UK ahead of future expansion into European markets.

The website offers a free service that puts customers in touch with a stylist who assembles a trunk of clothes from more than 50 fashion brands, which is then delivered to the customer.
