Mining is most secretive FTSE 100 sector, claims Christian Aid report

Anti-poverty charity Christian Aid has released a report on the "culture of concealment throughout the FTSE index", which ranks different industries according to the level of secrecy evident in their financial reporting.

It claims the three most secretive sectors in the FTSE are mining, oil and gas and travel and leisure.

The three least secretive are real estate, retailers and utilities.

The 48-page report can be accessed via the Christian Aid website.
