Both Gong Communications and JTA have been handed a Queen's Award for Enterprise for their record in international trade.
The Government-backed award is given to companies for outstanding achievement and follows Gong generating 50 per cent of revenues from organisations based outside of the UK.
JTA, meanwhile, has increased exports as a percentage of turnover from 47 per cent to 68 per cent over the last three years
Gong MD Narda Shirley said: "The UK undoubtedly has a language and a time-zone advantage in global communications that we have used to carve a niche working for entrepreneurial and innovative brands."
JTA founder Jon Tibbs said: "I hope that this award, while being an unparalleled honour for my company to receive, will also encourage other companies in the sports sector to explore the varied and exciting growth markets around the world."
