Recipe ingredients delivery service Gousto seeks media boost

An online service offering home delivery of all the ingredients needed to make a range of recipes is seeking an agency to generate press and TV coverage.

The entrepreneurs behind Gousto have issued an RFP, seen by PRWeek, for an initial three- or four-month project starting at the end of this month.

The brief includes targeting an audience of 30 to 50-year-old women with articles in print publications exclusively on Gousto, as well as some TV work. However, they have specified they do not need help to handle the blogging community.

Gousto appeared in a number of print articles last year and on television programme Dragon’s Den last August, and worked with a PR agency called You between August and December.

Remuneration will be structured as a retention fee of £1,500 per month, with bonuses of up to 100 per cent of this fee linked to the achievement of objectives, such as 200-word plus articles exclusively about Gousto or TV appearances.

The deadline for responses is Friday 18 April.
