The affordable housing provider issued a tender in November last year spanning stakeholder engagement, public affairs and media relations for three of Circle Housing Merton Priory’s neighbourhoods: High Path, Eastfields and Ravensbury.
The agency will provide advice on the communications and community consultation for the proposed project during the masterplanning stage, which will run throughout the year and involve working with residents on the designs of the new neighbourhoods.
The initial brief is for 18 months and could be extended depending on how the project progresses. Subject to planning approval, the Merton scheme is set to be the biggest estate regeneration project undertaken by Circle Housing.
Camargue will report to Circle Housing head of regeneration communications Judith Hewitt, who said: "This is a complex project across three locations and our priority is to ensure we are communicating effectively with the residents who are affected by the regeneration proposals. Camargue will be instrumental in supporting our engagement with residents in an open and transparent way."
