Phillips moves from Brunswick to Glover Park

Oliver Phillips has joined the Glover Park Group as an MD, working across the company's public affairs, media relations, and corporate communications practices.

WASHINGTON: Oliver Phillips has joined the Glover Park Group as an MD, working across the company’s public affairs, media relations, and corporate communications practices.

Phillips has joined Glover Park from Brunswick Group, where he founded the corporate responsibility sustainability practice. Previously, he ran global media strategy for UNICEF from 2003 to 2006, overseeing communications for the agency's priority campaigns. From 2001 to 2003, he was senior adviser and communications director for California Gov. Gray Davis (D).

Before switching careers to politics, Phillips worked in broadcast journalism for ITN, ABC News, NBC News, and CNN, based in Moscow, Hong Kong, London, New York, and Washington.
