Lim returns to Burson in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Burson-Marsteller has appointed Allison Lim as regional MD for public affairs and government communications for the Asia-Pacific region.

SINGAPORE: Burson-Marsteller has appointed Allison Lim as regional MD for public affairs and government communications for the Asia-Pacific region.

She will be based in Singapore, where she served as market leader for Burson from 2007 to 2011. Lim will focus on expanding the firm's public affairs and government businesses in Singapore and across Southeast Asia. She will report to Ian McCabe, regional public affairs practice chair for Asia-Pacific.

Lim has more than 18 years of policy and government experience, specializing in pan-Asian government relations and issues management, NGO advocacy, CSR, crisis preparedness, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked with a wide range of clients including large multinationals, healthcare companies, listed utilities, universities, and NGOs.

Lim has previously worked throughout Southeast Asia, as well as Australia, China, India, and Japan. She has also worked in the Middle East and North Africa.
